This party is so much fun to plan - who doesn't smile when they are holding a teddy bear? Invite guests to bring their bear all dressed up for the occasion, or if you'd like to build your own bear, read below for complete information.
Where to host this party? Your teddy bear picnic could be held in your own backyard, an outdoor park, or even in your living room with a blanket spread out on the floor. Your bear party could even be a birthday party, tea party (complete with china and tea), or slumber party. Don't forget your pillow!

Bears are full of adventure, and what better fun than a treasure hunt with a real treasure chest full of toys! Create a map and let the kids explore until they find the loot. Your map could have a clue hidden in each location. This is a great inside or outside activity. Its always helpful to plan a half hour for the hunt, and then another half hour for the children to play with the toys.

What is an American Stuff-a-Bear party like?

All of our reps follow a custom party script developed for the exclusive use of our party attendants. This script centers around your child and makes them the star of the stuffing event. The party begins with the guests singing Happy Birthday to your child. We record this song onto a sounchip that is then placed into your child's stuffed animal. Your child can play their birthday song over and over again just by squeezing the animal's paw.
/dress.jpg) The next unique ceremony developed by American Stuff a Bear is the WISHING CEREMONY. Your child is the star of this ceremony as only they have the special birthday magic needed to make all of the guests' wishes come true. These wishes are blown onto small silk stars that are placed into the stuffed animal or doll.
Now let the stuffing begin! Only American Stuff a Bear has a FLUFFING CEREMONY to turn soft cotton clouds into marshmallow treats that the children "feed" the animals until they are full and cuddly.
How long does a party last?
Hand Stuffing parties last approximately 40 minutes regardless of the number of guests. This is ideal for large groups and younger children who may fear a machine. Stuffing machines are available in established territories for a rental fee of $35 per hour. 15-20 children per hour can be accommodated.
How much does it cost?
The cost of your American Stuff a Bear party is simply the cost of whatever you buy your guests. Add $35 if you are renting
 a stuffing machine (please note machines are not available in all areas). Party Attendants are provided upon request at no fee if you spend at least $150 on stuffed animal kits and/or bear accessories.
There are 160 stuffed animal kits to choose from. Each stuffed animal kit includes everything you need to make the stuffed animal plus a birth certificate, silk star insert to wish upon, and a stuffed animal carrier.
Stuffed Animal Kits range are $10-$18 each. Clothing Prices begin at $3. Accessory Prices begin at $3.
